Grief Changes Us

Healing changes us, too.

Our inaugural Rooted & Rising circle brought together nine women for three weeks of reflection, learning, connection, and growth.

This fall, we invite you into a new circle exploring grief, transition, identity, and renewal.

A space to honour what has been lost while making room for what comes next.

Because grief is not only about death.

It can emerge after a relationship ends, when children grow up, when health changes, when a career shifts, or when a dream no longer fits.

Sometimes grief arrives when we realize a version of ourselves has quietly slipped away.

Many of us carry grief without recognizing it.

Many of us carry it alone.

You don't have to.

What this actually is

This is a small therapist-led circle for women navigating loss, change, uncertainty, and transition.

Not a traditional grief support group.

Not a workshop.

Not a place where you need to have the right words.

Instead, this is a space to slow down, reflect, learn, connect, and gently explore what it means to move forward while honouring what has been lost.

Together, we'll create space for both grief and hope.

What We'll Explore

Each session is structured, but human.

Topics may include:

  • Understanding grief beyond death

  • The many forms of loss and transition

  • Nervous system support during difficult seasons

  • Self-compassion and emotional resilience

  • Identity shifts and life transitions

  • Meaning-making and personal growth

  • Reflection, mindfulness, and guided practices

  • Connection with other women walking similar paths

You do not need to share more than you feel comfortable sharing.

Sometimes listening is enough.

The flow

Week 1: Honouring what has been lost
Exploring the many faces of grief and creating space for what has changed.

Week 2: Meeting Ourselves in the Middle

Understanding the emotional landscape of transition, uncertainty, and healing.

Week 3: Renewal & Moving Forward

Exploring meaning, growth, and the possibilities that emerge when we begin to carry grief differently.

Who this is for

This circle may be a good fit if:

  • You are grieving the loss of a loved one

  • You are navigating a major life transition

  • You feel emotionally overwhelmed or stuck

  • You are experiencing changes related to aging, menopause, relationships, family, or identity

  • You are carrying a loss that others may not recognize

  • You are longing for meaningful connection and reflection

You do not need to be in crisis to attend.

You simply need to be willing to show up exactly as you are.

Why We Keep the Group Small

This isn't a workshop.

It's a circle.

Keeping the group small allows for deeper conversation, meaningful connection, and space for each participant to be seen and heard.

Women are longing for places where they can be real.

We are honoured to create one.

"Grief has a way of convincing us that we are alone in our experience. Yet when women gather and share their stories, something shifts. The isolation softens, the burden eases, and healing begins to find its way in."
